So the Coulson’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. now knows what they are up against with Skye, who’s earthquake causing powers were truly out of control in this week’s episode. And how about Mack and Bobbi’s secret? We now know that they’re not working with Hydra, but who ARE they working with? We know that Bobbi, along with Hawkeye, formed her own World Counter-terrorism Agency in the wake of “Secret Invasion,” so maybe that’s what she and Mack are up to. If it turns out that Bobbi and Mack have decided to create their own Secret Avengers team, based somewhere on the West Coast… minds will be blown. It seems more likely that they are working for AIM, especially since Morse has history with them in the comics and we’ve already seen Mack’s true mechanical acumen.
According to the summary below, we can expect to see a big hero/villain showdown next week.
Taking a look at the cast list below, we can see that Jeff Daniel Phillips is David A. Angar. Angar, in the comics, is can create sonic screams, like Banshee, that result in nightmarish hallucinations. Drea De Matteo’s character, Karla Faye Gideon, has only ever appeared in Daredevil comics as a battered wife who stood by her abusive husband even after he murdered their child, so it’s hard to tell how SHIELD plans to use her. From the trailer, it looks like she might have claws of some sort.
