An Arcade Full of Cats

Journey through gaming history’s time and space while searching for adorable feline companions in Devcat’s An Arcade Full of Cats, the ultimate pet’em up hidden object game. Join Leo and Fofiño as they navigate a feline-infused version of the arcade era, spanning from 1980 to 2000, all while attempting to find their way back to the present!

The Basics

Now, let’s get down to the basics! At its core, An Arcade Full of Cats is a hidden object game with a uniquely feline twist. I expected it to be very similar to Cats Hidden in Paris, and it is in the way the cats are hidden around the maps. However, there are significant differences, starting with the fact that there’s more than one map. In fact, An Arcade Full of Cats is a mini-homage to video game history as told by stylized cat-art.

Why Should I Play?

Why should you play An Arcade Full of Cats? I’d suggest this game to everyone. The nostalgic settings are eye-catching, the video game callbacks are charming and the cats make everything utterly adorable.

The music composition was a huge draw, so make sure your sound is up. It changes to match the different levels, and although it does loop after some time, I never found it too tedious to listen to. The artwork also drew me in. I loved the variety of body styles, material composition and positions the cats are drawn in.
