The next installment of American Horror Story, AHS: Apocalypse is coming to your TV screens. This time the world is over, but some things never change. The trailer for the new season is funny, terrifying, familiar and new all at the same time. Season 8 combines Murder House and Coven and is set during a zombie apocalypse. It’s looks like a scary good time.

All of the usual suspects are in the new season. You see Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Sara Paulson (Cordelia) and her witchy team Myrtle (Frances Conroy), Zoe (Taissa Farmiga), and Madison (Emma Roberts). And, of course, you can’t reference Murder House and not include Rubber Man (Tate Langdon). That’s assuming that it’s Tate in the suit, but it could be anybody.

The trailer starts with the end times. There’s a calamity in the streets. “The chaos has won.” Billy Eichner has a hilarious moment trying to get out of Santa Monica and away from the carnage. The outside world is bleak, but inside “Outpost” you’re safe… in theory. But, of course, you can’t leave. It’s too dangerous out there. Inside, “It’s our world now… to remold as we see fit.” They’re dispensing punishment and keeping all who enter under their thumb. And, Satan is there. Hail AHS.
