AMC has announced its San Diego Comic-Con line-up and it is spectacular. The network will bring the star power behind their genre hits Snowpiercer, Interview With the Vampire, Mayfair Witches and The Walking Dead Universe. The latter will have two SDCC panels, one for The Walking Dead: Dead City and one for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol.
AMC is taking a fan-centered approach to SDCC 2024. Dan McDermott, president of entertainment and AMC Studios for AMC Networks. said, “Fans are at the heart of San Diego Comic-Con, and at the heart of our programming franchises like The Walking Dead Universe and Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe, so we are thrilled to once again be returning with shows that have been embraced by passionate fans around the world. This is a focal point moment for us every year, giving fans the opportunity to engage with our talent, see what is coming and celebrate the stories and characters they love. We’re thrilled to be back.”
The Walking Dead Universe
Both The Walking Dead Universe panels are set for Friday, July 26th and will be in the famed Hall H.
The Walking Dead: Dead City, Friday, July 26, 1:45-2:45 pm, Hall H
The Walking Dead: Dead City follows Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) as they travel into a post-apocalyptic Manhattan, long ago cut off from the mainland. The crumbling city is filled with the dead and denizens who have made New York City their own world full of anarchy, danger, beauty, and terror. In season two, in the growing war for control of Manhattan, Maggie and Negan find themselves trapped on opposite sides. As their paths intertwine, they come to see that the way out for both is more complicated and harrowing than they ever imagined.

The panel will be moderated by Chris Hardwick and feature Chief Content Officer Scott M. Gimple, Showrunner Eli Jorné, Lauren Cohan, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Gaius Charles and Željko Ivanek as panelists. Fans will be treated to an exclusive look at the upcoming season which will premiere next year.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol – Friday, July 26, 2:45 – 3:45 pm. Hall H
According to AMC, the new season picks up where The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon left off, following fan-favorite characters Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride).
This panel is also moderated by Chirs Hardwick. Panelists include Gimple, Showrunner David Zabel, Director Greg Nicotero, Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride and Louis Puech Sciliuzzi. Attendees will get a first look at the official trailer for the upcoming season which premieres Sunday, September 29th.

The Walking Dead Universe fans at SDCC will also have the opportunity to attend a special advanced screening of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol on Friday evening, July 26 at the Rooftop Cinema Club Embarcadero from 7-9pm PT.
Snowpiercer
Snowpiercer – Friday, July 26, 11:15 am-12:30 pm, Ballroom 20
The season 4 premiere of Snowpiercer actually airs on AMC, July 21st, before San Diego Comic-Con begins. The series is set more than seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, Snowpiercer centers on the remnants of humanity who inhabit a perpetually moving train, with 1001 cars, that circles the globe.
Fans at the panel will be treated to an advanced screening of Episode 2 of Snowpiercer Season 4 before the episode airs on July 28th. After the screening, actors Daveed Diggs, Mickey Sumner, Mike O’Malley will join executive producers Paul Zbyszewski and Chistoph Schrewe to discuss the final season.

Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe
Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire and Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches, Saturday, July 27, 5:00-6:15pm, Ballroom 20
Kicking off the panel is fan favorite Anne Rice’s Interview With the Vampire. The popular series was recently picked up for a third season. In Interview with the Vampire in the year 2022, the vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson) recounts his life story to journalist Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian).
Panelists include Mark Johnson who is in charge of Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe, showrunner Rolin James, production designer Mara LePere-Schloop and actors Sam Reid, Assad Zaman and Delainey Hayles.

Mayfair Witches is up next. Season 2 of the series will continue the journey of Rowan Mayfair (Alexandra Daddario) after she has unwittingly given birth to the demon Lasher (Jack Huston). Mark Johnson returns for this panel and will be joined by showrunner Esta Spalding and actors Alexandra Daddario, Harry Hamlin, Tongayi Chirisa, Huston, Ben Feldman and Alyssa Jirrels.
The Walking Dead, Snowpiercer, Interview With the Vampire and Mayfair Witches are currently streaming on AMC.
