I love a scary story, especially if it’s true. Amazon’s Lore is coming back with six new chilling tales just in time for Halloween. Amazon released the season two story synopsis for each of the episodes. Lore season two will premiere in October on the streaming service.

Lore is based on a podcast of the same name, produced and narrated by Aaron Mahnke. Mahnke tells the absolute true stories of strange occurrences behind some of the best known myths, legends, and fairy tales. Season two features stories that haven’t been heard on the podcast.

At San Diego Comic Con, Producer Gale Ann Hurd said, “We have an expanded scope, and a new showrunner in Sean Crouch, who comes to us from the widely acclaimed Exorcist, the adaptation on Fox.” Hurd added that unlike season one, season two’s episodes will focus on one story instead of multiple.
