When Amazon Prime Video released the rotoscope animation series Undone, it was an instant success. The show touched on themes of longing, loss, reconciliation and mental health. The medium in which the show was made, rotoscope animation, and the supernatural elements to the story only deepened attachments that the viewer had for the characters. It’s aesthetically and emotionally satisfying. If you haven’t seen Undone, I suggest you set aside some time for a binge.

According to Deadline, the series has been renewed for a second season. Undone was created by Kate Purdy and Raphael Bob-Waksberg. It follows a woman (Rosa Salazar) who discovers she has a new relationship with time after surviving a car accident that almost killed her. She then begins a cosmic journey trekking across time, space, and beyond to solve the mystery of her father’s (Bob Odenkirk) death.
In other good news, one of the show’s co-creator, Kate Purdy, just inked an overall deal with Amazon
