Now, the clip below illustrates Mark’s struggle to gain his abilities. His father joins the Guardians of the Globe in preventing the Mauler Twins from assassinating the president. Omni-Man and Mark’s mother, Debbie (voiced by Sandra Oh), decide to fly away for a romantic tête-à-tête. Meanwhile, Mark stands up to a bully at school who’s harassing Amber Bennet (voiced by Zazie Beetz), much to his friend William Clockwell’s (voiced by Andrew Rannells) dismay. Later in the sneak peek, we see Mark at his part-time job as a fast-food employee. He’s lugging around hefty trash bags. Suddenly, he’s able to throw one with ease. His powers hath arrived!
