Aaron Mahnke, creator of the sensational nonfiction podcast Lore, is having quite the busy year. Between writing and hosting his podcast, dealing with the success of his second book The World of Lore: Wicked Mortals, the promise of a third book set to release in October 2018 and getting the official word that his show was ordered for a second season; what more could this guy be up to? Oh, nothing big. Just creating a brand new podcast. The Internet’s favorite storyteller announced the launch of a brand new podcast called Aaron Mahnke’s Cabinet of Curiosities. It is set to be a twice weekly exploration of collections that were “…rooms of wonder. Enormous cabinets filled with one of a kind objects that delighted and intrigued the people who collected them. Relics from another age, portraits of significant people, inventions of ingenuity and fascination.” –Cabinet of Curiosities trailer.

The show’s production was made possible by the exclusive overall deal Mahnke signed with HowStuffWorks earlier this year, which promises (according to rumors) to produce at least two more shows by the Lore creator by 2019.
