And yes, they are still the adorable, awesome and so very handsome.
The Star-Lord vs. Captain America epic Super Bowl bet has reached it’s conclusion. It’s been an absolute treat watching these two goofballs go at it in the twittersphere and then use their powers for good.
Back in February Chris Pratt honored his (losing) end of the epic Super Bowl bet by visiting Christopher’s Haven in Boston dressed as Star-Lord. And this past Saturday, even through Chris Evans won the bet, he still flew out to Seattle to visit Seattle Children’s dressed as Captain America. Seattle Children’s is a hospital where compassionate experts partner with patients and families to provide world-class care and find cures for childhood diseases.
The only way that Chris Evans kept the upper-hand in the bet was by making poor Chris Pratt wear a Patriots jersey at Christopher’s Haven. Otherwise, good will was spread by these true to life superheroes. Just look at these pictures. One young hero even wore his Captain America shirt to meet Captain America. So wonderful. Also, the kids got to hold the shield. THE CAP’S SHIELD!!!!!!!!!
So A Tale of Two Chris’s comes to an end but what a wonderful journey it was. When all involved look back on this, they may not remember the football game that was played that day or even who was playing but what they will remember is that Captain America and Star-Lord came-a-calling and put smiles on these children’s (and families’) faces all while raising quite a bit of money for this two amazing hospitals.
AMAZING day at @seattlechildren w @prattprattpratt. Met some TRUE super heroes! Feeling inspired, blessed, touched. Thank you w all my heart
