A Quiet Place 2 is going forward and it’s got the original team intact.  John Krasinski took to Instagram on Friday to announce his return as director.  He was previously signed on to write the sequel.  The original producers, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form are back for another.  And, Emily Blunt is a lock to return on screen.  That’s according to Deadline on Friday.

The end of the first film left us wondering if Blunt’s character would manage to fight off the monsters that terrorized her family.  This casting news sort of answers that question, but we can still wonder about how and when the sequel might pick up the story.
