Jeremy T. Thomas, Jesse Plemons and Keri Russell walk onto a set and what do you get? One hell of a movie.

As an avid movie watcher plus a lover of all things strange and unusual, I’m all in for a creepy trailer to get me hyped for an upcoming movie. And oh boy, folks, creepy doesn’t even begin to cover the new Antlers trailer.

Inspired by the short story The Quiet Boy by Nick Antosca, Antlers follows a small town teacher and the local sheriff who discover the horrific secret of a young boy, who is acting as a caretaker for a grotesque creature. In this new trailer, which dropped late last week, the weird factor is turned up quite a few notches as viewers get a look at what goes into keeping a monster in your house.

We see the boy (Jeremy T. Thomas) wander around his small town trapping woodland creatures for wood, living in total darkness and solitude. But when the creature escapes, viewers get a look at a crime scene just as Lucas’ teacher Julia (Russell) is putting the strange puzzle pieces together with all the information she collects as Lucas’ teacher.

The trailer finishes with the little boy coming face to face with the monster then everything fades to black as Lucas whispers “Daddy” and viewers get a glimpse of a man transforming into a creature. A creature with antlers. Take a look at the craziness below!

A small-town Oregon teacher and her brother, the local sheriff, become entwined with a young student harboring a dangerous secret with frightening consequences.

Antlers debuts in theaters on April 17th, 2020!
