A great heist movie will have an audience on the edge of their seat no matter the genre. Solo, Inception and Rogue One are just a few of the fun, nail-biting movies that occupy the science fiction space. Artemis Fowl and Shadow and Bone, albeit a streaming series, are solid heist stories in the realms of fantasy. But what about solid, suspenseful, fun heist movies that take place IRL? We’ve got you. Here are four of our favorite fun heist films.

Ocean’s Eleven

Steven Soderberg’s Ocean’s Eleven may just be the best heist movie in modern cinema. Released in 2002, the film had all the perfect heist components: glamour, charm, humor and suspense. In Ocean’s Eleven, a recently released from prison Danny Ocean, played by George Clooney,  puts a team of 10 talented people together to exact revenge on the man who is now dating his wife by pulling off one of the riskiest heists ever put into motion. He plans to rob three Las Vegas casinos at the same time. The movie also stars Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts. And the final shot of the movie is wonderfully Las Vegas. If want to live that Vegas life, you can! For the best guide on how to play online casinos, visit Casivo.

Logan Lucky

Logan Lucky follows two brothers Jimmy and Clyde Logan played by Channing Tatum and Adam Driver, as they try to pull off a heist during a NASCAR race. The Logans have definitely not been lucky in their lives. Jimmy has recently lost his job repairing a sinkhole underneath Charlotte Motor Speedway and that’s how he gets the idea. They break a demolition expert played by Daniel Craig out of prison and the fun begins.

American Animals

American Animals is a must-see for heist movie lovers. The heist film was a Sundance Festival darling and stars Evan Peters, Barry Keoghan, Jared Abrahamson and Blake Jenner. It is based on a true story about one of the craziest attempted heists in US history where four students held up the Special Collections Room of the Transylvania University Library. Why did they do this? To get their hands on rare books.

Widows

In a world of male-led heist films comes Widows. This fantastic film follows four women after they lose their husbands in a crime plan gone wrong.  Along with their death, comes crippling debt. So, the women team up together to implement their own plan. The leader of this group is Veronica, played by the incredible Viola Davis. The group of women has to navigate Chicago’s intense organized crime scene to pull off their heist. The film also stars Cynthia Erivo, Michelle Rodriguez and Elizabeth Debicki.
