Over the weekend, Fox released a new poster for their next big Marvel blockbuster, Fantastic Four, with the phrase, “Change is Coming.”
However, the even bigger news is that with the poster they also released a second trailer giving us a lot more to look at and get excited about than their first trailer did. In this trailer, we get to actually meet the personalities that comprise the team, the socially awkward and hyper-intelligent Reed (Miles Teller), the confidant and somewhat cold Susan (Kate Mara), the hot-headed but fun and hard-working Johnny Storm (Michael B. Jordan) and the loyal, defensive Ben Grimm (Jamie Bell).
More than that, we really get to see their powers at work a little more, especially from Johnny Storm (Human Torch) and Ben Grimm (The Thing). The Human Torch throws a fireball and it looks great! And they drop The Thing from a plane! And seeing Reed’s intelligence at work, that he has “answers to questions we haven’t even asked,” is dead on from teh comics and great to see.
And the tag at the end, with Ben Grimm’s special infiltration tactics is just… well it’s Fantastic.
