Out of the BBFC, (that’s the British Board of Film Classification), we’ve got the first three titles for the upcoming Netflix series, Daredevil., as well as the directors for those episodes and their run times.

We’ve got

  1. INTO THE RING (Phil Abraham)
  2. CUT MAN (Phil Abraham)
  3. RABBIT IN A SNOW STORM (Adam Kane)

“Into The Ring” seems obvious — Matt Murdoch’s father was Battlin’ Jack Murdoch, so this will most likely cover this part of the story, see some level of origin stories for Matt Murdoch, the accident that resulted in his powers and the relationship he had with his father. As for the other two, “Cut Man” and “Rabbit in a Snow Storm,” those are harder to pin down. If we go with a more linear narrative, perhaps the title somehow refers to Matt Murdoch’s mentor, Stick. If we are to eventually see the origin of the Kingpin, perhaps this title refers to him somehow.

“Rabbit in a Snow Storm,” … you’re guess is as good as ours.

And, as you can see, they are all rated as being some combination of violent, bloody and bloody violent. Guess we’re in for the gritty street-level world of Marvel Knights.

As for the directors, Phil Abraham is known mostly for his work on Mad Men, and more appropriately The Sopranos. Adam Kane has done extensive work on Hannibal.
