Star Wars: The Last Jedi is complete. That’s right. Those magical words have been uttered. In an Instagram post by director and writer Rian Johnson, we learned that the movie is completely finished. It feels like this is the first Star Wars production to be done on time. And with plenty of time.
The most anticipated movie of the year (yes, I said it), will be out this December with zero hiccups, thanks to the post-production team. Johnson took a selfie with the crew, thanking them for all their hard work saying “Aaaand that’s a wrap on the hardest working post production team in the galaxy. Going to miss sitting in dark rooms with these goobers.” Those goobers have seen the film and I am not at all jealous about it. If you needed any further proof of completion, he replied to a fan.

The Last Jedi will be the middle chapter for the sequel trilogy and fans are anticipating it highly. With all the praises from Lucasfilm, it’s really hard to think of the film not being any good. We’re in for new planets, more adventures and stories unfolding. And I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see it all.
Are you anticipating The Last Jedi? What are you most looking forward to seeing in the next chapter? Let us know! Be sure to come back to Geek Girl Authority for more Star Wars news! The Last Jedi is in theaters December 17th aka too long away.
