We’ve got Iron Fist hitting Netflix in March, and sometime soon we’ll have The Defenders going in to production, but the Marvel series currently in production for the VOD service is The Punisher. Sometime next year we’ll see Jon Bernthal reprising his role as the troubled vet who takes matters into his own hands, but until then, we’ll just have to be satisfied with these behind-the-scenes set photos.

They can be found on JustJared.com and they show Bernthal saving a dude’s life and then taking a lunch break. Our guess? The Punisher Frank Castle has taken a construction job as a way to lay low. He’s gotta make money somehow, right? And while on the job, one of his coworkers almost dies, but Castle saves him.
Of course, he could also be working undercover to bring a particular crime family down that launders their money through a construction business.
Our vote is still laying low and hiding out.
