Bill Murray Talks Cubs Loss and Superstition While Wearing Hilarious Costume on Jimmy Kimmel Live

Bill Murray showed up on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night wearing a costume (as he is known to do on Kimmel) to promote Rock the Kasbah. What was the costume? I have no idea although he looked like he belonged at The Globe Theatre. But it doesn’t matter, he’s Bill Murray. I say he wore the make-up to mask his sadness over the Cubs loss. His comments on the last Mets/Cubs game are hilarous and spoken like a true superstitious sports fan. Oh yes here’s another clip where Murray explains he doesn’t know what Netflix is – you know...

Daredevil Season Two Teaser Released Online!

~Matt Key At NYCC this weekend, Netflix and Marvel showed off their Daredevil Season Two trailer and, while we didn’t get to see much, we got to see the Elodie Yung pull up a mask as Elektra and the back of Jon Bernthal’s, as The Punisher back walking down the hallway of a hospital right before we hear him say, “Beg.” They then released it online this morning! But then turned it private. However, thanks to Alan Lopez’s Twitter account, there’s still a chance for you to see it! An Introduction to The Doctor: A Story of Regeneration Angst and Acceptance

by Stephanie Cookies If you haven’t watched all of Doctor Who… minor spoilers, Sweetie. I was raised on a steady diet of sci-fi, fantasy, literature, dreams, art, science, history, myths, legends, fables; anything that would fire my overactive imagination and keep the monsters at bay.  My father kept me supplied with my moving picture drugs of choice; Red Dwarf, old Doctor Who, Original Star Trek, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Muppets, Fraggle Rock, Benny Hill, Monty Python… the list just goes on. I’ve heard it said all kids are artists; the struggle is remaining so as you get older.  The...

New Jessica Jones Teaser Takes Flight!

~Matt Key We’ve got a new teaser trailer for Marvel’s next big Netflix series, Jessica Jones! It’s very simple and straightforward — just a woman walking home from a day of work. However, this is Jessica Jones we’re talking about, so when she walks home, she actually leaps from the ground up, up to her apartment, five stories up. This raises the question of Jessica’s ability to fly. In this trailer, is she just jumping really high, or is she actually flying? In the comics, she can fly, though she rarely does. However, Netflix and Marvel could be trying...

NEW INTERNATIONAL TEASER FOR JESSICA JONES WILL KICK YOUR BUTT!

~Matt Key OOOOOOOOH MAN. We’ve got a second teaser for Netflix’s next big Marvel series, Jessica Jones. That’s two in a week. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. Where the first teaser saw her waking up and destroying an alarm clock because she just can’t get out of bed, this one sees her tying one on at the end of the night after kicking some major ass. We get to see Jessica Jones, played by actress Krysten Ritter, walk through the broken, unconscious bodies of the thugs she just beat up. And in slow motion, which makes...

NEW JESSICA JONES TEASER TRAILER
IS PERFECT

~Matt Key Oh hell yes! We’ve got our first teaser trailer for the upcoming Jessica Jones, the next Marvel based project put out by Netflix. It’s only about .30 seconds long, all told, and all we see is a slow camera move in a bedroom — we don’t even see Jessica Jones’ face, played by actress Krysten Ritter — but what we do see is enough. It’s a really smart teaser in that way. It captures the tone of the series and the tone of the character all in one single shot of Jessica Jones, in her messy room,...

~Matt Key Sweet Christmas! ComingSoon presented the world with our first look at Mike Colter as Marvel’s resident Hero for Hire, Luke Cage, on the set of his upcoming Netflix series, Luke Cage. There’s not much going on, but we do get to see Colter, as Cage, hanging out in front of a barbershop where he apparently works, as he’s sweeping up in front of it. We also have some pictures of Frankie Faison hanging out on set with Colter, though nothing has been said about his role or who he’s playing. It’s entirely possible that he’s just the...

Wesley Snipes Claims That He’s Still in Talks with Marvel to Bring Blade Back

~Matt Key Apparently, Wesley Snipes and Marvel are still in talks about an upcoming Blade project. In an interview with Huffington Post, Snipes said of the project’s chances, “There’s always a possibility, you know. It’s in Marvel’s hands. They’re controlling the pace and the flow with that. Conversations have been good. They see the value in it. We see the value in it.” There’s absolutely no information on where this project is at currently or if it’s even very probable.
