Following the explosive events of last night’s Arrow, “Public Enemies,” we’ve got this trailer out for next week’s episode entitled “Broken Arrow.” Next week’s episode will see our very first metahuman villain visiting Starling City when Doug Jones‘ Deathbolt arrives. We don’t see any of him in the trailer, which would lead one to assume he’s a bigger reveal they’re saving for the episode itself. We do, however, get to see some pretty juicy fighting from pretty much everyone, and that includes seeing Ray Palmer and Oliver Queen duking it out, presumably with Oliver training Ray to help him take down Deathbolt.
DOUG JONES GUEST STARS AS DC COMICS’ VILLAIN DEATHBOLT — Lance (Paul Blackthorne) continues his mission to take down the Arrow (Stephen Amell) so Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) orders Oliver to keep a low profile. However, when a meta-human named Jake Simmons (guest star Doug Jones), who kills people with blasts of energy and plasma, starts terrorizing Starling City, Oliver is forced to ask Ray (Brandon Routh) for help. The unlikely duo is forced to team up to save the city. Doug Aarniokoski directed the episode with story by Jake Coburn and teleplay by Ben Sokolowski & Brian Ford Sullivan.
