This past Labor Day Weekend, and by Labor Day Weekend I mean Dragon Con Weekend in Atlanta, I was lucky enough to sit down with one of my favorite writers, Hugh Howey. The night before the interview, Hugh told a hilarious story at my storytelling panel 5 Truths and a Lie so I couldn’t wait to start chatting!
In episode 15 of Kneel Before Aud, Hugh Howey and I chat about his inability to put fantasy books down as a boy, his life as a yacht captain, working as a bookseller and his fascinating path to digital self publication and making his choice to retain all his digital rights.
And, oh yeah, we also talk about the fact that Ridley Scott optioned his novel Wool and that Steve Zaillian is attached for the screenplay. Wait, what!?! So cool!
So listen and enjoy. You can listen below or listen on iTunes by clicking here.
