We saw a new villain in The Turtle, played by Battlestar Galactica’s Aaron Douglas, who has the power to slow down everyone around him with waves that sap people of their kinetic energy, resting them in a momentary state of potentiality. It’s a lot of science mumbo jumbo to basically say he can freeze time.
This is bad news for a hero who’s power is running really fast.
There was lots of drama with Joe West and his recently discovered son, Wally West, and lots of drama between Barry Allen and his girlfriend Patty Spivot, and all of this ended with the Reverse-Flash Eobard Thawne returning in the very end.
Now that you’re caught up, we’ve got this trailer for next week’s episode titled “The Reverse-Flash Returns.”
In it, we see Harrison Wells from Earth-2 telling Barry Allen that this is where he learns about everyone, learns about the team, learns about Barry as The Flash, that “this is his origin story,” and that “there’s nothing you can do about it.”
HE’S BACK… — When Cisco (Carlos Valdes) gets a vibe of Eobard Thawne (guest star Matthew Letscher), Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team don’t believe it. But, after an attack at Mercury Labs, Christina McGee (guest star Amanda Pays) confirms that the Reverse Flash is back. Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) and Francine (guest star Vanessa A. Williams) share a nice moment that brings Iris closer to her brother, Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale).
