WARNING:  There Are STRANGER THINGS Season 1 SPOILERS Below!

We’ve been getting little bits and pieces of Stranger Things season 2 in the last week or so. The Super Bowl teaser was so exciting, and it really did tease, didn’t it?  I mean, just flashes of something we might understand.  I was so excited and frustrated!  Good work, Netflix.

Yesterday Entertainment Weekly came out with something of a Stranger Things 2 issue.  We get a look at the kids on the cover, in a couple of photos, and even better, some information about what the hell is happening in Hawkins!

In an interview with the show’s creators, the Duffer brothers, Matt Duffer was quoted as saying of Will Byers,  “He seems to be seeing images from the Upside Down—the question is whether they’re real or not” and, “So it seems like he’s having some sort of post-traumatic stress disorder.”  Okay.  That’s a start.

We also learn in this article that Sean Astin will be joining the cast as Bob, Joyce’s (Winona Ryder) new beau.  GREAT!  That’s some information I can hang on to!

And, here’s the kicker for #justiceforbarb fans like me who ask, WILL NO ONE CARE THAT BARB HAS DISAPPEARED????  Well, EW reports that Hopper is on the case.  Apparently it’s his job to COVER UP such details as Barb’s disappearance into the Upside Down and perhaps the witnessing of Eleven’s powers.  Ugh.  Justice may take awhile.  Poor, poor Barb.

As for Eleven, we don’t know.  She is presumed dead by the other characters.  She makes an appearance in the teaser, but we can’t quite tell in what world.  I wouldn’t count her out.  My money is on 11.

Stranger Things Season 2 premieres on Halloween only on Netflix.
