One of the most interesting members of Justice League is Barry Allen. With super speed granted to him in a freak incident, he can enter the speed force and live in a world we never could. In a new HD image thanks to Batman-News, we can see a little more into the mind of our lightning fast hero.

We see Allen, played by Ezra Miller, standing by his desk. Now his desk is filled completely with easter eggs including playing an episode of Rick and Morty, a picture of Nikola Tesla, a Sharpie-d crow sketched on his screens and so forth. On the screens themselves, it appears that he’s working on improvement for his suit. Possibly seeing what materials he needs or improvements to be made so he can go faster. And with a pile of books in the corner, we can only imagine that he’s learned to do this all on his own.

One of the most fascinating things about this iteration is that we may see him struggle a lot more. And what I mean by that is just how badly he struggles mentally with being The Flash. Pure speculation, but he is seemingly on an island, mentally. He’s living in a completely different world that literally no one else can understand (that we know of right now). So to see him overcome that and get some “friends” out of other superbeings will be a joy to see.
