If you missed last year’s Overwatch Halloween event, then you are in for treat…of terror! Blizzard has announced the return of Halloween Terror 2017 with our favorite slightly unhinged demolitionist Junkrat, aka Dr. Junkenstein.

“No doubt you’ve been wondering, you’ve been waiting all year, to see if I’d return.  Well, you have nothing to fear. Night falls once again and the wind howls through. It’s me Dr. Junkenstein and oh how I’ve waited for you.”

The event will run from October 10th to November 1st and it looks to be bigger than last year. With enemies to fight in Junkenstein’s Revenge, more skins to unlock, new character highlight intros, new emotes, a special loot box, and Halloween themed maps, players will have a hauntingly good time.

Junkenstein’s Revenge

Players will be able to relive the tale of Dr. Junkenstein in this limited time event. Teams of four will go head-to-head against Dr. Junkenstein and his monsters including Summoner, the Reaper, and the Witch of the Wilds.

Endless Night

In Arcade mode, players can participate in Endless Night. In this scenario players can play as either Genji, Torbjörn, Widowmaker, and Zenyatta, as they repel endless waves of enemies and bosses. Players who last the longest will be placed on a special event leaderboard.

Halloween Terror Maps

During the event there will be special Haunted Hollywood and Haunted Eichenwalde maps.
