Stephen King used social media on Sunday to give his fans a look at the teaser poster for the much anticipated film, The Dark Tower. Stephen King added the missive “Pilgrim, there are other worlds than these. Come with us on the adventure.”

The film is set to release in July 28th and to many Dark Tower fans, it’s hard to believe it’s finally coming to fruition. In the film, Idris Elba stars as Roland Deschain and Matthew McConaughey stars as the Man in Black. Both appear in the poster along with the Jake (Tom Taylor). Don’t see all three? Then turn the poster upside down. Also, for all you Vikings fans, Kathryn Winnick also appears in the film. The Dark Tower is directed by Nikolaj Arcel.

The Gunslinger, Roland Deschain, roams an Old West-like landscape where “the world has moved on” in pursuit of the man in black. Also searching for the fabled Dark Tower, in the hopes that reaching it will preserve his dying world.
