Hey, all you Skeksi and Gelfling fans!  The Dark Crystal is coming back to the big screen!  It will be released in theaters for two days only in February, 2018.  

This news comes at a great time for fans of The Dark Crystal.  Netflix recently announced that it is making a prequel series to the original film.  That series is going forward with the help of the Henson Creature Shop, and looks like it will be amazing.  Now we can see the original on the big screen in preparation for the very anticipated past on the small screen!

The two-day limited theatrical release will feature a 4K restoration of The Dark Crystal and an interview with The Jim Henson Company CEO Lisa Henson.  The interview is said to focus on the ‘impact of the film and the legacy of Jim Henson.’  This, according to IGN.com.  

You can purchase tickets for The Dark Crystal starting January 12, 2018 at Fathomevents.com.  The screenings will be February 25th and 28th in select theaters.  Check your local theaters!  Fizzgig, come on!
