Daniel Kaluuya and fellow Oscar contenders Allison Janney, Margot Robbie and Alicia Vikander appeared on The Graham Norton Show this week. And, though all of them were incredibly charming and entertaining, Kaluuya won the night with his stories of on-screen kissing and the time he met Oprah Winfrey.

The first clip features a pretty fascinating conversation about the cultural differences in on-screen kissing. Apparently there are different rules in America than in England and Australia. Daniel Kaluuya is hilariously candid about his feelings and mis-steps in that arena. You also get a great story about the time that Allison Janney had to kiss Meryl Streep for The Hours. Clip number two is a charming little story from Kaluuya about meeting hollywood royalty, Denzel Washington and being brought into the presence of Oprah herself. He couldn’t keep himself from hugging her tight when he met her, and I guarantee I wouldn’t either. Especially now that I know that the hug revealed how wonderful she smells!
Kaluuya is nominated for best actor at the Academy Awards this year. He’ll be joined by his fellow nominees at the Oscars on March 4th. Watch it happen!
