Guest Brian D. Bradley, Star Trek News and Favorite Villains on BOOZE AND PHASERS!
Welcome to Episode 3 of Booze and Phasers! The Star Trek podcast where Heather Brooker, Claudia Dolph and Audrey Kearns drink Trek and talk booze…we mean, we booze Trek and drink phasers… wait a minute, green people, Gorn – ENERGIZE!
For this episode we have a special guest, Mr. Brian D. Bradley, Geek Girl Authority contributor and Executive Producer and Showrunner of the ABC sitcom Uncle Buck. Since Brian was guesting and our Tipsy Topic was favorite Star Trek villains, he decided to whip up a drink for this episode called the Harry Mudslide. The drink is named after Star Trek Original Series rogue and con-artist, Harry Mudd. Here’s the recipe, you should make the drink and listen!
1 oz vodka
1 oz Irish cream liqeur
1 oz Kalhua
1 oz half and half
Pour over ice or put it in a blender with some ice to make a delicious frozen beverage.
In this episode’s news, we cover the new Star Trek: Beyond trailer, the movie posters and the character posters for the film. You can follow along with the links below:
After the news and so many drinks, we chat about our favorite Star Trek television villains. Of course, we have a lively discussion about the Borg, the Dominion, Klingons and Khan. We know there are many, many awesome villains in the Star Trek universe, so if we didn’t mention your favorite, apologies – we blame the Harry Mudslides. You can tweet us who you think should have been on our list @BoozeandPhasers!
