Woody Harrelson in Talks to Portray Han Solo’s Mentor

While still in early talks, Variety is reporting that Woody Harrelson is a top runner to play the scruffy looking nerf herder’s mentor in the upcoming Han Solo movie. While information regarding the next Star Wars Story film is slim, if cast, Harrelson will join Alden Ehrenreich, Donald Glover, and Emilia Clarke.  However, there have been rumors of one more person joining the film, a woman of color to possibly portray the young smuggler’s first wife, Sana Starros.  Of course, take all of this with a healthy dose of skepticism since there has been no official word on either Solo’s...

OVERWATCH Gets a New Map, Oasis is Now Live

When Blizzard promised a new Overwatch map shortly after the beginning of the year, they weren’t kidding.  Today the patch that removes Winter Wonderland is also dropping a new map into the rotation, Oasis.  A control point map with jump pads and traffic that will kill you if you don’t get out of the way. Oasis may be just a map, and it may not have any relation to any character (that we know of) but it does expand the world and build on the story of Overwatch.  Oasis is a city that sits in the middle of the...

The Six Thatchers was a fantastic episode, setting the stage for the rest of the season.  While there were many undeniable joys, Sherlock making jokes, unfortunately the episode also came with heartbreak.  Of course I’m talking not only about John apparently cheating or seriously considering the act but, rather, the death of Mary.  I told you there would be spoilers, you were warned.  Now, the BBC has released a quick video of the main cast reacting to her...

Diablo officially turns 20 (damn, we’re old) on December 31.  Blizzard isn’t going to let it pass quietly, planning in game events for all their properties to celebrate the milestone in style. Announced earlier this year at BlizzCon, Diablo 3 is getting The Darkening of Tristram which places the original game inside the sequel.  Relive the grainy, gritty, old school graphics and sounds as you attempt to take down the 4 original bosses.  At first, this is all that was announced, leaving many fans scratching their heads.  Surely an anniversary such as this should have something more.  More is exactly...

OVERWATCH Theory: Pharah’s Father

One of the draws of Overwatch is the expansive lore and amazing world building the folks at Blizzard have rolled into the team based first person shooter.  Sure, the game is entirely enjoyable all on its own without knowing the greater lore surrounding the heroes.  But the deep backstory and character relation add an extra layer to the game, keeping people guessing and theory crafting based on the tiniest detail.  I’m guilty of chasing the lore rabbit down the hole and never coming up for air, wildly speculating off the most throwaway of throwaway lines or images. One that...
