Astronaut, Commander Chris Hadfield’s flight suit was recently found in a Toronto thrift store.

Last week, Dr. Julielynn Wong happened into a random thrift store on Queen Street West and stumbled upon a flight suit. She noticed it had the name, Chris Hadfield, stitched on the left-hand side.

Dr. Wong purchased the suit for $40 marked down from $80 and messaged Commander Hadfield, as they are Facebook friends. They confirmed details of they suit and it indeed, turned out to be his.

No one has any idea of how it got there, according to The CBC.

Commander Hadfield is known for his huge presence on social media, and in particular his cover of David Bowie’s Space Oddity while aboard The International Space Station.

He retired in 2013.
