Stop the presses!  Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are back with their own production company and a brand new comedy-horror film, Slaughterhouse Rulez!  Deadline reported the news Monday, and personally, I couldn’t be more excited! Pegg and Frost, are best known for their other collaborations, Sean of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Paul and my favorite, Spaced.  They’ve also done things individually, most notably in geekdom, Pegg’s role as Scotty in the new Star Trek re-launch films. Simon Pegg Set to Co-Write Star Trek 3 with Doug Jung

Well this is great news. Star Trek actor and also, Star Trek uber-fan, Simon Pegg has been tapped to co-write Star Trek 3 along with Doug Jung. Looks like there is finally a team in place for the next Star Trek Project. Pegg and Jung join Justin Lin who will be directing.
