10 Best STAR TREK ‘Discovery’ Episodes to Honor STAR TREK: DISCOVERY Premiere

In honor of the newest Star Trek series, Star Trek: Discovery, premiering this Sunday… I’ve put together a list.  I have compiled my 10 favorite Star Trek ‘discovery’ episodes: episodes that center around, introduce and/or provide the audience with significant discoveries.   Now, this list could have easily been 20, 50, 100 episodes long.  It was actually kind of torturous picking only 10.  Given the nature of Star Trek as a show, discovery is a key theme across series’.  But, if you’re looking for some awesome Trek episodes to revisit, or if you want a little smorgasbord of an...

First Four Episode Titles for STAR TREK: DISCOVERY Released: Here’s What We Think

The Star Trek: Discovery premiere is just days away, and on Monday, they gave us just a couple of clues to what the first episodes will be about.  The titles of the first four episodes were released in a dramatic, text only video from ST:D.  And, here they are… Ep. 1.  The Vulcan Hello We can assume that this is referring to Michael Burnham’s (Sonequa Martin-Green) relationship with Sarek, Spock’s father.  And/or her rearing in Vulcan culture at a Vulcan school.  This is exciting.  Finally getting to meet Martin-Green’s character after all we’ve heard about her is awesome.  And,...

STAR TREK: DISCOVERY: New Teaser Reveals Klingon Fight to ‘Remain Klingon’

The long anticipated premiere of Star Trek: Discovery is fast approaching.  And, as it gets closer, the show is starting to reveal to us a more complex picture of ‘the other side’ of the story.  In a teaser released on ST:D‘s Twitter feed on Friday, we see the war from the Klingon side.   The teaser is short and not so sweet.  I’d call it resolute.  It starts with a shadowy figure walking toward the audience. There’s a Klingon voice that begins by saying, ‘they are coming’.  We immediately get the distinct impression that this teaser represents a fulfillment...
