Chris Evans May Not Be Done with CAPTAIN AMERICA After All

http://gty.im/486266586   Remember that Esquire article that came out about a week ago saying that actor Chris Evans is done playing Captain America after the next two Avengers films. As they put it, “The movies will be shot back to back beginning in April. After that, no more red- white-and-blue costume for the thirty-five-year-old. He will have fulfilled his contract.” They made the argument, with that one sentence, that Evans no longer planned on playing the Sentinel of Liberty and that the only real thing keeping him on board now was his contractual obligation. However, in an interview with...

Check Out This Homemade CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Trailer

Captain America: Civil War has gotten a lot of positive fan attention, as it should.  And, it’s trailer has also been a target for fandom.  Now, we have a shot for shot live action remake of the trailer from the Youtubers at Cinefix! I’m a sucker for pretending with some cardboard and some duct tape.  This fits the bill.  Cinefix’s Homemade Movies trailer gives us all of the action and pith of the movie, but with toys on sticks, cardboard models, silly costumes, and hilariously bad wigs (but only slightly worse wigs than the original.  I mean, let’s be honest). And,...

Gag Reel For ‘Captain America: Civil War’ Reminds Us Filmmaking is Fun

Marvel’s big Summer tent pole, Captain America: Civil War, was one of the biggest commercial successes of the summer while also being a favorite of the critics, sitting at a 90% on Rotten Tomatoes. Which is why we all love gag reels so much. We get to see these serious characters portrayed by serious actors at the top of their game, artists...

Captain America: Civil War — How It Should Have Ended!

~Matt Key Captain America: Civil War, for all it’s wonderful moments, character arcs and exciting narrative developments was still not a perfect movie. Sure, it’s close, but there were still plot conveniences and strange story choices that the filmmakers had to deftly dodge or risk quickly bringing the story to an anticlimactic ending. And leave it to the good, brilliant folks at How It Should Have Ended to exploit every single one of them. The Civil War video went up today and already has 700,000 views, and for good reason — it’s very funny and very on point. For...

Captain America Isn’t Sure How to React to Captain America in Hydra!

~Matt Key This week Marvel released their newest book, Captain America: Steve Rogers #1. Why the subtitle of Steve Rogers? Because he and Sam Wilson decided to share the title of Captain America during the events of Avengers: Stand Off. But that is old news and definitely not the news from this title! The real news here is that Captain America reveals that he has been a Hydra agent deep undercover this entire time. Whhhhaaaaaaaat?
