Female Gladiator Novel THE VALIANT Becoming a TV Series on CW

According to Variety, the gladiator ring just got a little more interesting. Just when you thought swords and sandals were gone after the disaster of the Ben-Hur remake, there’s this. A novel focused on a female gladiator, The Valiant by Lesley Livingston, will be made into an hour long TV series.  CW, the network giant most notable for teen drama, will be developing the series.
